While current HP management cries accounting fraud, former HP execs involved in deal as well as Mike Lynch, Autonomy’s former CEO assert that proper due diligence was done and its disclosures were highly transparent. China's Oem Printer Market drops 6.5% Year-Over-Year

After transitory resilience in 2010, the printer market in China experienced weak demand and a fall in output in 2011 and H1 2012 as a result of the economic slowdown. Chinese printer market was depressed in 2012, and its output dropped 6.5% year-over-year to 38.55 million units from January to July 2012.
Concerning competitive landscape, Chinese printer market is basically occupied by foreign brands like HP, Epson and Canon. In 2012, the manufacturers adjusted the development strategy of their printer business in a market downturn. HP merges its printer business division with other divisions to reduce spending. Lexmark sells its inkjet printer business and pools resources to develop managed print services for transformation. Ricoh to open AU$20M distribution centre in Western Sydney Australia

Over 100 staff will be relocated to the new site at Eastern Creek once it opens in
Printer vendor Ricoh has poured AU$20 million over 10 years into a new distribution centre at Eastern Creek, Sydney.

Its existing distribution centre in Frenchs Forest, also in Sydney, will be relocated to the new site when it opens in the second half of 2013. Workers at Lexington-based Lexmark International, during the past two years, have been at the center of a major renovation. Decades earlier, the facility that was built as an IBM typewriter factory, to become the most modern of offices, has had more than 300,000 square feet updated.
